Quaker State 5062780 Q Advanced Engine Full Synthetic 5W50 Motor Oil -1 Quart Review




What can you say about synthetic motor oil? I have no laboratory to test it in. It seems great to me. It comes well packaged and the price is competitive. I can find no fault in it. I put it in my crankcase and my engine runs fine. I can only assume I'm getting what I'm paying for, but I do trust that I am. I would recommend synthetic oil these days, since the price of regular oil is going up and the price of synthetic coming down. The claims for synthetic are encouraging. Longer engine life and perhaps better fuel economy. different auto manufacturers are recommending synthetic in order to obtain better fuel economy numbers, so there must be something to that, but to me the best gain is in engine longevity.
Engines are very expensive, cars are very expensive. Fuel is costly, true, but you spend much more on other expenses in driving than you do on fuel.
